This well-known, boutique beachfront Dive Resort, with advance bookings, is located on the island of Kadavu in the Fiji Islands. Kadavu Island is the fourth largest island in Fiji. It is virtually undeveloped. Virgin coral reefs ring the island and beaches are fringed with coconut palms. The native population of 12,000 live in approximately 70 remote villages on the island. There are few roads and transport is mainly by boat. The Resort is located on a beautiful beachfront property only 10 minutes by boat from Kadavu airport. It is set in the tropical gardens which flow onto a sandy beach. The rolling hills behind the resort are covered with walking trails which lead high into the rainforest and magnificent view. Whether the tides are high or low, we always have a pristine beach in front of the resort.
The Resort - has just 10 bures (Fijian Bungalows) & accommodates a maximum of only 24-30 guests at any one time. Each bure has its own bathroom (hot water), ceiling fans, bed-lamps, queen size bed, or 2 singles, verandah, fly screening, fridge, external rinse shower etc. Two of the bures have two bedrooms which can accommodate up to four people and are handy for families / friends. The remaining eight bures can each accommodate 1, 2, or 3 people. Built in a more modern - traditional style, they blend into the lush gardens and are roomy enough to allow space for relaxing in your private time. All bures have direct access to the beach, dive shop, dining/lounge rooms, bars and activities toys. They are powered with 240V electricity which is generated by the resort's own power plant. An inverter system is used between 9.30pm & 7am, and powers, fans & lights.
D I N I N G ~ Dive Kadavu believes in providing you with a taste of Fiji and your Favorites. One night a week they have 'LOVO NIGHT'. The people from the village prepare a Fijian Feast. The food is cooked in an underground oven in the traditional style. The meat, seafood and vegetables are marinated and wrapped in palm fronds and banana leaves. Other Meals include barbeques, curry nights, roast dinners and a broad international selections. Vegetarian meals are available by advising us prior to arrival, fish is always on option. Most Dining is in the Dining area, but if you wish, there is always dining in your room, verandah or beachfront tables. We have two Bars, the Lounge Bar and the Beach Bar. Both are lovely spots to view the sunset. The beach bar offers ice-cool local beers, Australian & New Zealand wines, soft drinks, juices, snacks and those special Matana 'Cocktails'.

SNORKELING - Go straight off the beach or to the outer reef on the dive boat.
RAINFOREST WALK - Directly behind the resort is a large rainforest with extensive walking tracks. The forest abounds with native birdlife.
VILLAGE VISITS - By invitation from the village elders, guest may be invited into the village. The Fijian people consider this their private place and respect for their customs must be shown. If you are invited it is requested that you wear a sulu and cover your shoulders. Hats must not be worn.
OCEAN KAYAKING (day or multi day trips) - Day use of the kayaks is complimentary for guests at the resort. The more adventurous may wish to join one of the multi night adventures.
SAILBOARDING - Available on the beachfront for the use of our guests. If this is a first for you, one of our friendly staff will assist you to become the experienced sailboarder.

The resort is small and personal, catering for divers and non-divers alike while the coconut palms, aquamarine water and white sand make a perfect setting for swimming, snorkeling or just soaking up the sun. Kadavu has many remarkable sights and the rainforest capped hills behind the resort offer many hiking trails. The view from numerous vantage points is simply breath-taking! Relaxation and activity go hand in hand at the Beach Resort: explore the island and it’s virgin reefs by ocean kayak or glide across the clear waters of the protected lagoon. Other activities include paddleboards, volleyball, snorkeling and water-skiing.
The Resort is staffed by a team of skilled professional s (Dive Kadavu) and is a member of the Padi Resort Association. A fleet of purpose built boats, coupled with the latest safety features, ensure comfort and take divers and snorkelers to the best sites Kadavu has to offer. Diving in these clear waters with abundant marine life, brilliantly colored soft and hard corals and endless swim-throughs is the easiest and most enjoyable diving imaginable. For the diver who wishes to travel light, a full compliment of hire gear is available in the dive shop.
Accommodation is in comfortable Fijian style bures with all modern conveniences. Guests dine in the elevated dining room with panoramic views over the lagoon to an extinct volcano "Nabukelevu". Meals include a good selection of international and local dishes. A "lovo" (underground oven) is a popular occasional dinner alternative.
