Potential development of hotel and golf centre
The former brewery was established in the 16th century. It is situated about 40 km far from Prague close to the Prague-Pilsen motorway. It is a solitaire building located by the old road from Zbiroh to Chotetin. Its sensitive incorporation into the landscape with small ponds in the surroundings creates a breath-taking complex. Even today, the outside appearance clearly shows elements of former brewing production. In the course of its existence, it was rebuilt several times, but its Baroque style is still prevailing. The property consists of three main buildings, a residential building and a stable.
The redevelopment of the property to a hotel accompanied by the low-capacity brewing was commenced in 1994. Construction works for static improvement of the building and a number of construction alterations were performed but the reconstruction itself has not been finished.
In 2005 the property was acquired by new owner who made the conservation and ensured the property against weather conditions.
The owner also prepared a new reconstruction study. The study focused on the completion of redevelopment to a hotel with a restaurant and congress rooms as well as bringing the building to its original style. The study also takes into account the opportunity to use the hotel as a GOLF CENTRE. In this case, the hotel would provide accommodating and refreshing facilities for the golf course spreading over the surrounding land (approx. 68 hectares). However, the land is not included in the sale.
The build-up area of the main buildings amounts to 2,500 sq m. The build-up area of auxiliary buildings is 859 sq m. The area of yard is 1,883 sq m. The building volume amounts to 39,000 cubic m. The total area of the plot inclusive of ponds is approx. 20,000 sq m.

A building permit for the reconstruction is still valid. The town of Zbiroh is interested in the completion of the reconstruction.
The premises are not subject to historical monument preservation.
